Okeechobee Fishing Report 4/11/18
Dustin Herrin, Chris O’Brien, and Brian Larscheid are here from all over the United States helping those effected by hurricane Irma. They took some time off to come fishing with Okeechobee Fishing Guides and Oh what a great day it was. We caught nearly 50 fish with 5 being between 5-6 lbs. and 2 over 6 lbs. The weather changed 3 times throughout the day starting at 69 degrees and a soft breeze in the morning going to 62 degrees cloudy and foggy by 9:30 a.m. and blowing about 25 mph from the north and ending the day at 75-80 degrees with a light breeze from the south west. You never know what you are going to get weather wise on the U.S.’s second largest lake but what you will get is a bunch of bass and a great experience.
