Lake Okeechobee Fishing Guides are on the fish! The Lake Okeechobee Water Levels are up which seems like it has brought the fish in by the droves. We have been catching great numbers of fish every day! As the Fall/Winter season progresses the fish will continue to feed voraciously preparing for the spawn and there will be BIg fish caught regularly with the occasional GIANT mixed in. With our first cold front coming tomorrow this will jump-start the fish’s metabolism forcing them to feed and to prepare to spawn. The lake levels being way up we are fishing areas of the lake we have not been able to get to since 2017. The grass has seen extreme growth in some areas of the lake which will increase the number of fish in the area as well. The crappie have also started to show up with many catching their limit in a half-day using jigs or live minnows.
