Lake Okeechobee Fishing Guides

Shellen Guide Service and Lake Okeechobee Fishing Guides have been doing several trips at Head Waters Lake and the lake is phenomenal!! We caught around 60 bass today with 8 being over 5 lbs. This trip I took Jayson, Kristina, Kenzy, and Xavier and we fished primarily artificial lures. This lake was stocked almost 10 years ago with 1 million bass and the lake was designed to hold giant bass and lots of them. There are areas in this lake that are 20-30 foot deep and miles of flats that 3-5 ft deep and loaded with cover. We caught fish on everything from topwater lures to rubber baits. The fish here have never seen a lure before so the fishing most days is just incredible. There are so many areas that hold fish and the bait is plentiful so the fish are healthy and feeding. Once the spawn starts this lake will be out of this world!If you want to be one of the first 1000 or so people to fish one of the United States Best Lakes that is still relatively unheard of!
