Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing Guides
Phil Barbero and his father came down from the NorthEast where there has been a heavy Winter storm to spend their time with Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing Guides. These guys caught bunch of fish through the rough and windy cold morning. We caught these beautiful Largemouth Bass moving around a bit we found some areas protected from the wind. Phil came down a couple years back and now he is back with his father to catch elusive Giant Okeechobee bucket lips! We caught a bunch of males again today. We saw some beds but couldn’t find any females swimming around or on the beds. The weather for the next few days is supposed to cool off quite a bit for the next few days until Friday we will start on a warming trend once again. Lake Okeechobee water temps can change drastically when the weather cools so quickly. Temps can drop as much as 20 degrees in the matter of a could days on the lake. The full moon is coming up on the 12th and the warming trend will start on the 6th so next weeks fishing should be awesome. Stay tuned to our Okeechobee Fishing Report to see how the fishing turns on next week! Also check out our Dec. fishing report in Coastal Angler Magazine as well.
