Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing Guides

Morning Trip– Adam Bolen and his wife came down from SC to fish with Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing Guides/Shellen Guide Service. Adam and his wife have never been to Lake Okeechobee before so to them it looks like such a vast lake and it is but to someone who has never seen a lake bigger than local lakes and streams this lake is massive. The fish were very picky today, we caught a ton of males”buck” Large Mouth Bass while the larger females were playing hard to get. We had a chance a couple very big fish but as I said they were picky as they came up after the shiner a couple of times but never really ate it. Adam and his wife were also celebrating their wedding anniversary on Lake O what a privilege for me to have this couple on the special day. 

PM TRIP- Ryan Combest and his wife “Ashley” and Father “Jim” all came down to fish this afternoon, tomorrow morning and afternoon and Sunday morning. They are from Kentucky and Ryan was down here on work and decided to make a trip of it. This evenings trip the wind picked up significantly so it made fishing a lot tougher but we managed to catch some good fish including  a 6lb+ and quite a few bucks as well. Tomorrow’s weather is supposed to be more wind and possibly some rain so it will more than likely be another tough day.
