Another awesome day on the Lake these guys caught 30 plus fish in under 4 hrs. As the Lake level drops the fishing will continue to get better and better. These guys came along way to catch these big Okeechobee bass and I can tell you they were not expecting on how quick the bite was this morning. The water is clearing up as well which makes the artificial bite get better. As the summer progresses the morning bite will be key to catching fish as the sun comes up and the water warms the bite will slow throughout the day unless we get an abundance of clouds for the day. The top water bite should also continue to get better and better throughout the summer as well. Get down here and enjoy some summer sun and awesome fishing.

Fishing is still been awesome on Lake O. Today was a phenomenal day where the clients caught several fish over 5lbs including these pigs in the picture. The bite has been early and quick catching usually 20 plus fish in the first hour of fishing. The weather has been great but certainly heating up. The morning artificial bite has been good also we are catching fish on Top water, spinner bait, swim bait. Come on down and enjoy some time on the water with friends or family.

Brian Glaze and his buddy Miguel who have fished together all over the U.S. and Canada came down from Indiana again to fish with Okeechobee Bass Fishing and what a day they had again! No Okeechobee swamp donkeys but lots of fish anyway. These guys have another day to go so hopefully we can get a bigger fish for these guys but just catching a bunch of fish is just as fun. All of the fish today were caught on live wild shiners.

John Davis and son day 2 turned into fewer fish but on the average they caught bigger fish. The wind picked up some today so after a 4 hours of bass fishing we decided to catch some BIG bluegill as well. The bluegill bite is really good right now we are catching 20-30 an hour with some being in the 9-11 in range. The spawning fish will move back up as we approach the next full moon and new moon so come on down and join us for some awesome BIG O fishing with Okeechobee Fishing Guides who will work their hardest to ensure you get your fish of a lifetime.
