Robbie Marx his son and father caught some Giant Bass on the lake today landing 2 over 6lbs. and 4 between 4 and 5 punds catching a total of 27 in 4 hours. The light breeze and clouds made for a beautiful day and fun fishing. Alexander caught the biggest fish of the day landing this 6 lb. 13oz. bucket mouth. Watching his eyes light up when landing this beauty was the best part of my job. Thanks for coming guys and look forward to seeing you again!

Eugene Kim his son Nathan and daughter Carolina (Lina) had a beautiful day on Lake Okeechobee catching 20 bass 4 over 4lbs. They are from New York and really loved this beautiful Florida weather. These kids were a joy to fish with and they were SO competitive. The fishing this summer has been great so bring your family for that catch of a lifetime.

Today I had the pleasure of fishing with Larry “who turned 80 today”, Jason, and Jack Jones from Cincinnati, OH.  They had a blast catching a bunch of Okeechobee bass (35) Larry caught the biggest today at 7lbs. 9oz. and Jack who is 14 caught a 6lbs. 16oz. Okeechobee swamp donkey. Both Jack and Larry caught their personal bests and the most they had ever caught in a day as well. It was a pleasure taking 3 generations fishing and watching them enjoy their time together. Come and join us for some fantastic fishing and beautiful weather.

Hayley Leach her boyfriend and her Dad cam down to Lake O to catch some Okeechobee Large Mouth and they were not disappointed catching this nearly 7lb. large mouth and 25 more. The sun and weather have played along this last few days making fishing great and the days beautiful. Hayley and Dalton are both in college at U.K and are huge basketball fans but love to spend their time fishing.

Neil Stafford, Jeff Clark and his son Evan Clark had an awesome day on Lake O catching a total of 37 bass with 4 fish over 5lbs and several in the 4-5 lbs range. The fishing is great and the Lake is beautiful so come and join us for this red hot summer bite.

Danny Koon and Dilbert Day 2! We had fish blowing up on shad all around us. We caught about 35 or so bass today before running out of shiners. These two guys have become loyal customers of Okeechobee Bass Fishing and Shellen Guide Service and we sure appreciate them. This 9 lb 4oz. swamp donkey was by Tony from Ft. Myers they also caught 50 or so others with several fish in the 3- 5 lb range. The lake level is dropping and the fish are moving out of the marshes and to the outside of the grass edges. Fishing should only get better through out the summer months.
