This awesome couple, Pete and Bonnie Gigliotti took a road trip driving all the way from San Diego, CA. to go fishing with OkeechobeeBassFishing.com and boy did it pay off. They caught several BIG bass including the largest an 8lb 6oz. beauty, a 7lb. 2oz. and several in the 5 lb range. The big fish are starting to move up and the weather in the morning is starting to feel cooler. Now is the time to book your spot for the upcoming Fall/Winter spawn where the fishing should be amazing. Bring your best friend or your kids and enjoy some time out on the water with the ones you love.
Long time customers Danny and Dilbert fished for 3 days this week and the fishing was phenomenal!! We caught 25-40 fish each day and several fish over 5 lbs. Now is the time to book your trip for the coming Fall bite! We still have several open days in Oct. as well. These fish were caught on live wild shiners but we also caught several fish on Zara spook. As the weather cools the fishing should only get better and better!
Robbie Marx his son and father caught some Giant Bass on the lake today landing 2 over 6lbs. and 4 between 4 and 5 punds catching a total of 27 in 4 hours. The light breeze and clouds made for a beautiful day and fun fishing. Alexander caught the biggest fish of the day landing this 6 lb. 13oz. bucket mouth. Watching his eyes light up when landing this beauty was the best part of my job. Thanks for coming guys and look forward to seeing you again!
Ted Gibbs and his 84 yr. old father from Brooklyn, MI enjoyed there day on Lake O catching 37 bass on 5 dozen large wild shiners in under 4 hours. The fishing has been awesome this summer despite all the bad press on the Lake. Algae or no algae the fish are still here and the fishing is still phenomenal. Come see us this winter!
